Network fees and confirmations
Why a transaction takes time and who charges the gas
We will never ask for your password, seed phrase, private key or 2FA codes. If anyone asks you for them in our name, it is a fraud attempt. Let us know through the chat, choosing Security and fraud.
Recognise official messagesNetwork fees (gas or fees): these are payments required by the blockchain itself to process a transaction. They are not charged by our team. The amount varies depending on the network and how congested it is. On some networks you need a balance of the native asset to pay them, for example ETH on Ethereum or TRX on Tron.
Confirmations: once sent, the transaction must be included in a block and confirmed by the network. Each platform requires a minimum number of confirmations before crediting funds, so it is normal for some time to pass between sending and crediting.
Pending transaction: this may be due to network congestion or a fee that was too low. You can check its status by entering the TXID in a block explorer for the relevant network. If it has been pending for a long time, contact support with the network and the TXID.
