What a TXID is and how to find it
The identifier we need to locate a crypto transaction
We will never ask for your password, seed phrase, private key or 2FA codes. If anyone asks you for them in our name, it is a fraud attempt. Let us know through the chat, choosing Security and fraud.
Recognise official messagesThe TXID (Transaction ID), also called the transaction hash, is a unique code made of a long string of letters and numbers that identifies each transaction recorded on a blockchain.
Where to find it: in the withdrawal or send history of the platform or wallet you sent the funds from. It usually appears as TXID, Hash or Transaction ID, often with a link to a block explorer.
What we use it for: with the TXID and the network used, we can check on a block explorer whether the transaction exists, how many confirmations it has and which address it was sent to.
Important: the TXID is public information and sharing it does not put your funds at risk. Do not confuse it with your private key or seed phrase, which you must never share with anyone.
