What it is: identity verification (Know Your Customer) is a mandatory process to protect your account and comply with regulations. It may be required to trade or withdraw funds.

Usual documents: a valid identity document (national ID card, passport or residence permit), front and back, and a recent proof of address in your name, such as a utility bill or bank statement. In some cases additional documents may be requested.

Image requirements: sharp, in colour, not cropped, without glare, with all four edges visible and all details legible.

Common reasons for rejection: expired document, blurry or cropped image, details that do not match the account, or a proof of address that is too old. If your verification was rejected, contact support stating the reason shown to you.
